Sam completed his law degree at University of Queensland, before being admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a Solicitor in 2011. He has worked exclusively in Criminal Law since commencing practice, and in that time has acquired a wealth of experience in complex criminal matters – including international extradition proceedings, Supreme Court bail hearings, complex frauds, murders, and drug trafficking operations – as well as appearing daily in the Magistrates Court on traffic and less-serious criminal matters, such as drug possession and assaults. He is an experienced advocate, having developed his skills with daily appearances in Magistrates Courts all over Queensland, and now appears regularly in the District and Supreme Courts as a solicitor-advocate for his clients.

In 2018 Sam was recognised by the Queensland Law Society for his competency, knowledge and expertise in the practice of criminal law and was accepted as an Accredited Specialist, joining a very select group of highly-regarded practitioners in Queensland who share the accolade.

Sam is driven by strong sense of justice, and a passion to ensure both fairness and that his client’s rights are protected against abuse by those in authority. Our firm is a preferred supplier to Legal Aid Queensland, and Sam continues to offer his services to suitable applicants for Legal Aid on a case-by-case basis.
